Stacey Abrams slammed after defending $2 billion in Biden-era EPA funds to buy green energy appliances

'The funds are currently frozen, and the DOJ and FBI are investigating,' EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin says

Struck-down Democratic Georgia gubernatorial hopeful Stacey Abrams is being denounced by conservatives after she was seen on MSNBC arguing in support of a $2 billion initiative in the Biden administration's EPA to buy Americans green energy appliances.

"Stacey Abrams affiliated Power Forward Communities collected $2 billion worth of tax money in 2024 after documenting only $100 in income during the previous year. They were so incompetent that the grantee agreement stipulated that the NGO must undergo training in 'How to Develop a Budget' in 90 days," EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin stated in remarks provided to Fox Digital Sunday.

"$2 billion of hard earned tax money shouldn't have been paid to this agency for several reasons, notably if they don't even have a clue on how to make up a budget. The Biden EPA 'gold bars' plan is replete with self-dealing and conflict of interest, extra middlemen that aren't necessary, unqualified beneficiaries, and radically cutback government control. The money is already on ice, and the DOJ and FBI are investigating."

Zeldin's reply came after Abrams appeared on MSNBC on Friday to support the Biden administration's issuing $2 billion last year to an organization called Power Forward Communities.
